Sian Arnold, Founder and Director

Sian Arnold F.CICB created Insight Bookkeeping & Accounting Services in 2000 to help businesses make better sense of their finances through high-quality bookkeeping services and training. Before moving into the bookkeeping profession, Sian was a small business lending manager with a major High Street bank and so she understands how important it is to have quality, up-to-date financial records if you want your business to grow.

Sian is a Companion Fellow of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB). She is proud of her fellowship status as it signifies the highest grade of ICB membership and in the words of the ICB is ‘reserved for the best of the best’ of the bookkeeping profession who demonstrate they are ‘an outstanding bookkeeper and an exemplary member’. In fact, she was one of the first in the world to be awarded this ICB status. As a fellow, Sian is regularly called upon by the ICB to share her bookkeeping knowledge and experience. Add to this the fact that Insight Bookkeeping & Accounting Services was a nominee for the ICB’s Small Practice of the Year accolade in 2015, then you can see that under Sian’s leadership you are in safe bookkeeping hands.

Away from the daily number-crunching, Sian is dedicated to serving her local community. A former president and also treasurer of the Lions Club of Chipping Norton, she is currently a trustee of her village’s play group. With a passion for the outdoors, Sian helps to run her village’s garden club and has helped to organise garden shows as well as being treasurer of the club. She is also the treasurer of her village’s local allotment group.
